Front
BackSays it once, so nobody has to ask.
A new place, a busy room, someone new asking questions. Point to it and they know to tap. What opens says autistic, says what helps and what does not, and reaches somebody who knows. Said when you want it said.
This is a message to my guardian. You may send a text and/or see important info below. If this is an emergency, call 911 first, don’t wait.
No subscription. No profile.
- No subscription. You pay for the tag once. Nothing to renew, nothing to cancel.
- No account, no online profile. What you put on it lives on the tag itself, not on a website.
- Works on iPhone and Android. Nothing for the finder to install.
- Not a tracker. No GPS, no battery. It does nothing until someone taps it.
Anyone who taps the tag can read it, like a printed ID card, so put on only what you want a helper to see. In an emergency, call 911 first.
Straight answers.
What does a tap show?
A text to the guardian you chose, ready to send, and under it whatever you want said: that you are autistic, what helps, what does not, and how to reach someone who knows you.
Does the front say autism?
The front carries a gold infinity symbol on teal, with no words. What it means is said only to the person who taps it.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. Recent iPhones read NFC tags from the lock screen with nothing to set up: hold the top edge of the phone to the tag. Most Android phones read them too, with NFC switched on in Settings; the reading spot is the middle of the back. A notification pops up, and tapping it opens what is on the tag.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay for the tag once. No account, no app to keep, nothing to renew and nothing to cancel.
How private is it?
There is no online profile and no database behind the tag. What you put on it lives on the chip itself. Anyone who taps it can read it, the same as a printed ID card, so put on only what you want a helper to see, and rewrite it whenever you like.
Can I change what is on it?
Yes. It ships unlocked. You rewrite it in about a minute with the free NFC Tools app, and the instruction card in the package shows how.
